Because of our dedication to white glove installations and customer service, our customers don’t forget us. The vice-president of asset protection at an industry leading private brand tire company sure didn’t. This VP moved from another automotive industry company and because of his understanding of our capabilities and a trusted relationship with our account manager, it just made sense that we would be one of several integrators given an opportunity to recommend an IP video solution that fits his new company’s ongoing needs.
Of course, winning an account of this size is never easy and first required that we install the solution we designed for them in a pilot store. And, although the tire company invited four integrators to design and install systems in four separate stores so that their team could compare technologies, in the end, our solution was the only one to achieve a return on investment in just the first two weeks.
Despite that success the tire company wanted to be certain that they had the right company this time and released a competitive RFP, specifying our solution, that allowed others an opportunity to gain the business. Just part of doing business for us, and, in the end, we were awarded 200 video system installations on a tight six-week installation turnaround.
Where many security integrators would succumb to this added challenge, we saw this as an opportunity to prove the ROI of our solution on a greater scale while showcasing our ability to execute large projects within a compressed timeline.
