This barbershop chain prides itself in creating a unique customer experience, not only from its competitors, but from store to store within its own brand. Their previous network solution no longer met their needs and their plans for growth. They needed something new from a company that understood security and networks.

Engineering and Design

  •      Current MSP was not performing to expectations and all in-shop security appliances were End of Support
  •      There was a gap between the existing network design and corporate growth requirements
  •      Existing infrastructure did not provide the ability to add customer Wi-Fi experiences/brand loyalty programs
  •      There was no redundancy or disaster recovery plan

Installation, Support & PCI

  •      Poor circuit and device support experience with current MSP
  •      Difficulty passing PCI 3rd party audits
  •      Legacy plan included self-installs which did not scale to their rapid growth plans

Engineering and Design

  •      Vector Security Networks standardized the design of all shops with a fully managed Fortinet security fabric to include customer and POS Wi-Fi with broadband and managed 4G failover
  •      Our team redesigned their VPN concentrator environment and deployed in HA pairs for redundancy

Migration, Installation, and Support

  •      Performed all staging, kitting and installation for new and existing shops
  •      Project management and integration teams participated in biweekly calls to ensure collaboration with our agent partner
  •      Assisted their team with completing their PCI audit questionnaire
