We offer back-up cellular, radio or Internet service to ensure continuous monitoring of your security system even if standard telephone service is interrupted. And, our nationally-recognized false alarm protocols let authorities know the need for a response to an alarm is real, so there’s no second-guessing.
And, our central station operators have some of the highest tenures in the industry. So in the event of an alarm, trust us to act swiftly to verify the emergency and dispatch help.
Vector Security’s monitoring centers use ASAP (Automated Secure Alarm Protocol) to PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) technology to help facilitate faster, more accurate emergency dispatch. In areas where 911 centers have implemented ASAP to PSAP, Vector Security customers can experience alarm response times that potentially drop to as little as 90 seconds or less.
Vector Security’s President and CEO Pamela J. Petrow helped develop ASAP to PSAP in partnership with The Monitoring (TMA) Association and the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO). This technology speeds up alarm notification delivery, reduces the number of phone calls and processing time and eliminates human error.
